At just 18 years old, immediately after graduating from high school, Alex enlisted in the United States Navy to serve his country. During his four years of military service, he worked as an Air Traffic Controller, a highly demanding role that required precision, communication, responsibility, and the ability to perform under pressure. His time in the Navy helped shape his professionalism, discipline, and commitment to excellence, qualities that continue to guide him in his real estate career today.
After completing his military contract, Alex returned to El Paso and began working alongside his stepmother, Jenn Huereca, at El Paso Renters, where he served as a property management assistant for several years. Through this experience, he gained valuable hands-on knowledge in property management, tenant relations, customer service, leasing, and day-to-day real estate operations. Working directly with tenants, and maintenance coordination gave him a strong foundation and deep understanding of the local real estate industry.
Inspired by his experience in the family business and his desire to help people achieve homeownership, Alex decided to pursue a career in real estate. He attended real estate school and earned his Texas real estate license in 2024, officially becoming a Texas REALTOR® and joining The Purple House Real Estate Group.
Today, Alex assists buyers, sellers, renters, and military families throughout the El Paso area with professionalism, honesty, and a client-first mindset. His military background and local market experience make him especially relatable to first-time homebuyers, veterans, active-duty military personnel, and families relocating to the Fort Bliss area.
In addition to his real estate career, Alex currently works at Fort Bliss as data entry personnel, where he continues to develop strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills that benefit both his professional and real estate careers.
